About the Community of Practice

The Recompete Community of Practice (CoP), funded by the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), is designed to accelerate learning, collaboration, and impact across grantees of the Recompete Pilot Program. Its mission is to bring practitioners together to share lessons learned, highlight emerging practices, and tackle common implementation challenges in place-based workforce and economic development. Through peer exchanges, technical assistance, and knowledge-sharing opportunities, the CoP helps coalitions strengthen their strategies, build capacity, and expand pathways to quality jobs in their communities.
